In early September, our Penn Square Mall location will relocate to Oklahoma City’s newest thriving upscale shopping center, Classen Curve. Formerly occupied by Balliets, the building is being completely remodeled to create the largest jewelry store in Oklahoma. The massive space will allow us to showcase expanded collections in all departments, including jewelry, watches, and Life:Style.
This move solidifies our commitment to not only be Oklahoma’s oldest jeweler, but also Oklahoma’s most dynamic jeweler.
Along with Downtown and Northpark, we will continue to serve OKC with three fantastic locations.

We are proud to provide Oklahoma with the finest cut diamonds, each hand-picked by the BC Clark Family from responsible, ethical sources. Our attention to detail in combination with the strong relationships we have built with cutters all over the world reveals why our diamonds are not only different but most often a better value than you will find anywhere else.
BC Clark is truly local, having called Oklahoma its home for 128 years. We provide the confidence of buying from a trusted local business, which is perhaps more important now than ever before. We have weathered many storms throughout our
history and promise to always treat our customers like family and serve them for a lifetime.
We provide a safe shopping environment in our stores with both our customers and staff in mind. In each store, BC Clark employees are wearing masks, and we have sanitation procedures in place. If you prefer, we are happy to assist you remotely, and we offer shipping and curbside service.
We are excited to announce that our stores have begun reopening! Our Penn Square and Northpark store will re-open May 1st from 11-6pm. Our Downtown store will open Monday, May 4th from 10-5pm.
We look forward to once again being able to serve our dear customers and friends. Although we are re-opening, the threat from COVID-19 is not over.
With that in mind, we have precautions in place to protect both our loyal customers and our family of employees. Here are some of those precautions that may affect you as the customer.
We are instituting a no-contact policy (no hugs, handshakes, or other close contacts), and we encourage adherence to the 6 ft social distancing standard.
As needed, we may have to limit the number of customers inside the store at one time.
All employees will be required to wear masks to protect both themselves and the customer.
We will be temporarily suspending coffee machines or self serve food or drinks on the sales floor.
We will be taking extra precautions when handling customer’s jewelry and repairs. We encourage repairs to be limited to more urgent needs.
Please allow for extra time when dropping off a watch for service, repair, or watch batteries.
In an abundance of caution, we will not be taking appraisals at this time.
Although our showrooms are open, we will still offer free priority shipping on all jewelry items and curbside pick-up.
Any merchandise removed from the showcase will be sanitized before returning to the showcase.
All employees’ temperatures will be checked upon arrival to work.
We are grateful to be reopening and for the FAITH + HOPE + LOVE that our community has shared with us during this time. We look forward to seeing you and remember, we are always open and ready to serve you online.
A message of hope and promise. Commitment and solidarity. We will celebrate life and love always, no matter what.
And amidst these uncertain times, nothing is more important.
FAITH + HOPE + LOVE
We live and walk by FAITH.
Faith in God’s goodness, His plan, and Faith in each other. And followed by action, Faith can be a powerful thing.
Which brings us to HOPE.
We see it as our responsibility to offer Hope to the community that has given us so much over the years – not just through a promise and encouragement that Oklahoma and its people will come back stronger, but through actively doing our small part to help.
To spread this Hope, we have given $50,000 from our BC Clark Family Fund to local COVID-19 relief to be administered by the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
And of course, LOVE.
The greatest of these is Love, which is also the foundation of BC Clark’s existence. We have been a part of Oklahoma’s love stories for over 125 years!
The privilege of seeing love shape so many families over time is the most rewarding part of our business. That is why we can say with confidence: As Oklahomans, we will support each other in these challenging times. We will continue to express our love for one another with occasions and milestones worth celebrating. A thriving local business community to prevail.
With FAITH+HOPE+LOVE as our guiding principles, we know that we will come through this, TOGETHER.

Finding a diamond like ‘The Heart of Oklahoma’ is a once-in-a-generation experience. Extremely rare. 18.92 carats. Internally-Flawless. Fancy Intense Yellow. Valued at $1.2 million.
A diamond of this magnitude demands an extraordinary setting.
We joined forces with jewelry design house Harry Kotlar to design and craft the handmade masterpiece that would cradle the diamond. Kotlar, a legacy company with more than 70 years in the industry, was the logical partner because they understood from the start that this is more than a diamond to us. But more importantly, Harry Kotlar is among the most highly-regarded artisans in the industry, combining relevant design with old-world craftsmanship.
We selected a ring design reminiscent of the industrial revolution steam locomotive’s pilot grills with the use of tapered baguette diamonds. These are railroads, midwestern industrialism, art nouveau and tribal influences which are represented through using straight and curved lines as well as geometric shapes by the use of step cuts and special cut stones. The design team at Harry Kotlar went through great lengths to utilize historical aspects dear to BC Clark’s and Oklahoma’s legacy.
Kotlar also designed the setting for The Heart of Oklahoma’s sister diamond, ‘The Sol Diamond’ – a 5.01-carat diamond cut from the same rough.
We are very proud of this collaboration.
Seeing the finished design is truly a rewarding experience after this seven-year journey. In 2013, we set out to find a diamond worthy of honoring the BC Clark legacy and our home state. After searching the globe, we discovered this once-in-a-lifetime diamond. Cut from a 38.05-carat rough diamond that was mined off-shore Namibia, Africa, it was polished to perfection to a very specific carat-weight: 18.92 carats to honor BC Clark’s founding year–1892.
‘The Heart of Oklahoma’ diamond is back in Oklahoma City after being set into the ring at Harry Kotlar’s home base in California, and a short trip to Nashville, TN, where Carrie Underwood wore it at the 53rd CMA awards. The ring will be on display at our Downtown store on Friday, Nov. 15, and at our Penn Square Mall location on Saturday, Nov. 16, during regular store hours.
The Heart of Oklahoma is an 18.92 carat, extremely rare diamond graded internally flawless, fancy intense yellow. But it means so much more to us at BC Clark.
Over seven years ago, Coleman and Mitchell Clark set out to find a diamond worthy of honoring the BC Clark legacy and the state that has done so much for this 127-year-old family business. After searching the globe, the Clarks finally discovered this once-in-a-lifetime diamond.
Cut from a 38.05-carat rough diamond that was mined off-shore Namibia, Africa, it was polished to perfection to a very specific carat-weight: 18.92 carats to celebrate our founding year–1892.
We have been in the diamond business for 127 years. It was very important to us to find a diamond that would not only celebrate our company’s longevity and history but also the people of Oklahoma. This diamond’s color is as intense as an Oklahoma sunset and as faceted and spirited as our people.
When we saw it, we simply knew, this is The Heart of Oklahoma.
After being cut and polished in New York City, an excessive certification process followed. Eventually, it was designated as a Forevermark Exceptional Diamond and is the largest internally-flawless Forevermark Exceptional Diamond ever cut, according to Forevermark, a De Beers company.
Less than one percent of all diamonds are eligible to be Forevermark diamonds. Only a fraction of these is considered for the Forevermark Exceptional Diamonds Collection, as each Exceptional Diamond must adhere to strict standards of quality and ethics, and exceed a certain carat-weight.
The Heart of Oklahoma has a sister diamond. The Sol Diamond is a 5.01-carat Forevermark Exceptional Diamond cut from the same rough diamond.
The diamonds were revealed to the public today at our downtown store. People may view the diamond, tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 14 from noon to 5 p.m. at BC Clark’s Northpark Mall location.
Harry Kotlar has been commissioned to craft both diamonds into custom-designed rings.
We chose to partner with the Harry Kotlar company because, like us, they are a legacy company and understand that this is more than a diamond to us. They are also one of the most highly-regarded artisans in the industry, combining relevant design with old-world craftsmanship.
We are proud and excited we were were able to bring this once-in-a-lifetime discovery to the people of Oklahoma, and share a diamond worthy of being called The Heart of Oklahoma with you, our customers and friends.
We are really excited to announce that our Penn Square store will be relocating to Classen Curve Summer of 2020! Here is the official press release to give you more information:
BC Clark, Oklahoma’s oldest and most prominent jeweler, plans to open Oklahoma’s largest and most prestigious jewelry store at Classen Curve in 2020.
The company’s current Penn Square Mall location, including the staff, will relocate to the fully remodeled new location at Classen Curve in summer 2020.
“Classen Curve has become Oklahoma City’s premier shopping destination, and we look forward to joining the fantastic retailers there,” said BC Clark President Coleman Clark. “When the new store opens, our customers will experience a dynamic and inviting environment, see a wider selection in every department and find convenient parking just steps from our door.”
The store will occupy the space previously held by Balliets, and an extensive renovation will bring in even more natural light and a fresh, new look. The showroom will grow by over 30%, including expanded Rolex, David Yurman, engagement ring and Life:Style departments.
“The retail landscape is evolving. Shopping habits and consumer expectations are changing. We are in tune with our customers and will provide an approachable, comfortable and luxurious store experience,” Clark said. “The new store demonstrates our family’s commitment to Oklahoma City for years to come and solidifies BC Clark’s position as Oklahoma’s leading jewelry retailer.”
The existing Penn Square store will remain fully staffed through the coming holiday season and the first half of 2020.
Shannon Barghols, marketing director at Classen Curve, welcomed her new tenants.
“Classen Curve already has the best shopping and dining in Oklahoma for every occasion,” she said. “Adding a legendary local brand gives customers one more reason to shop in the heart of the city.”
