We are so excited to announce that Pantone’s 2018 color of the year is Ultra Violet! Every year, the people at this color forecasting institute look at trends in fashion, art, film, social media, technology, and more to determine the next year’s “it” color.
“Ultra Violet is a Symbol”
Ultra Violet can be described as a color of hope, healing, and peace. It can also mean luxury, creativity, ingenuity, wisdom, and ambition. Purple is the creation of something new and magical. It is a color loved by many generations and by many people.
In jewelry, this color can be seen in various gemstones like Amethyst, Purple Sapphires, Purple Tourmaline, and Tanzanite. It is also seen in rare jewels and gems such as Purple Diamonds and Purple Garnet.
We think that everyone needs a little of this color in their lives and we are proud to work with brands who believe the same. At BC Clark, many of favorite jewelry designers are at the forefront of what the color Ultra Violet symbolizes and they illustrate this it in their collections. We believe they are some of the top designers of ingenuity and creativity and we can’t wait to share some of their pieces with you.
